Arturia Minilab3 Spec Ad
A personal project created while practicing product modeling and texturing in Maya and experimenting with Houdini, resulting in this spec ad/animation for the Arturia MiniLab 3, a compact MIDI controller that lives on my desk for quick sound ideation.
Arturia has created several space-themed campaigns centred around their tagline, “The Sound Explorers.” Inspired by that direction, I imagined satellites drifting through deep space, transmitting signals back to Earth.
The animation was created using a procedural 3D kaleidoscope rig that allows for adjustable pattern counts, shape manipulation, lighting, and dynamic switching between the product’s different colourways. The setup is flexible enough to generate everything from clean product visualizations to more abstract compositions.
